Looking Back, Living Forward the 20th Concert for Life AIDS benefit, was a celebration in song of two decades of musical mission. .

Guest of honor, Dr. Eileen Guenther, was present to receive the 2013 Inspiration Ribbon for her founding dedication to this life-saving cause. In her honor it was announced $2,000 will be donated to a South Africa beneficiary of her choice.

Stanley J. Thurston directed the Concert for Life Choir, the WPAS Men and Women of the Gospel Choir, soloists, and instrumentalists in a program that featured uplifting classics and classical to spirituals. It was a magical night!

To finish the night, the 2013 Committee stood before the audience and announced total funds raised as of the 20th Concert exceeded $1,000,000! From this all-volunteer, non-sectarian concert, 100% of proceeds have been donated to our beneficiary organizations that help people living with HIV/AIDS in the Washington DC metropolitan area and in South Africa.
